How it works

From the first note to the last morning, one conversation and one host.

In detail

From your first note to your last day

You tell us how you like to travel. Everything after that is ours to arrange, and we keep you informed at every stage.

  1. Stage one · The conversation

    Tell us how you travel.

A short note, then a short conversation. Your dates, who is coming, what interests you and the pace you like. What you would like to come home remembering.

There is nothing to decide yet. We listen first.

  2. Stage two · The proposal

    We propose your days.

A proposed itinerary, written for you: which days, in what order, and why. It is the first thing we arrange for you, and the clearest way to show how we work.

We adjust it with you until it feels right. A day can move, change, or become a free one.

  3. Stage three · The reservation

    Confirm and reserve online.

When the plan is right, you reserve online in a few steps. You receive a clear summary of each day: where it goes, what is included and what we have arranged.

  4. Stage four · Preparation

    Before you arrive.

Ahead of your trip, we send your final itinerary and the practical details for each day. We ask about food preferences, and about anything that would make the days feel more like yours.

If something changes on your side, tell us. We adjust, up to the last moment.

  5. Stage five · On the island

    Your days.

Your host picks you up where you are staying and drives the day, in a vehicle for your party only. Tables and entrances are held. The pace is yours.

No photograph of you is taken or shared without your explicit permission.

  6. Stage six · Home again

    After.

Once you are home, a personal thank you from us. The island will still be here, and so will we. Come back whenever you want to see more of it.

Included in every day

Every day, arranged

  • Your host

A local guide dedicated to your party for the whole day, who knows the island from the inside.

  • Private transport

Pickup where you are staying and a vehicle for your party only, from the first stop to the last.

  • Reservations held

Tables, entrances and timings arranged before you arrive, and adjusted on the day if the weather asks.

  • Where to stay

We recommend places to stay that suit your style and your route. You book directly; we plan the days around it.

Where to stay

We recommend. You book. We plan around it.

Where you sleep shapes the days. A journey that runs from San Juan to the south and west may ask for more than one place to stay, and a quiet week may ask for only one.

We do not book accommodation, and it is not part of what you reserve with us. We do tell you where we would stay, based on your style and your route, and why.

  1. We recommend

Places that suit the way you travel and the order of your days.

  2. You book directly

With the place itself, on your own terms.

  3. We plan around it

Pickups, distances and the shape of each day follow where you are staying.

Weather and the island

We plan with the island, not against it.

Puerto Rico is green because it rains. Most of what makes a day here, the rivers, the mountain roads, the light on the coast, depends on weather we do not control.

So we tell you the truth about it, before you book and on the day.

  • We adjust the order.

If the weather turns, we move a day, or the parts of a day, so the plan still works.

  • Rivers and trails close after heavy rain.

When that happens, we tell you, and we offer another way to spend the day.

  • We do not promise what does not depend on us.

Not the weather, not the light, not an access we cannot guarantee. We promise to be honest about all three.
